Venice Freezes as Severe Europe Winter Continues (PHOTOS)

Water buses are stranded and gondolas are nowhere to be seen as the canals froze overnight in temperature of -10C. Although the ice on the canals thawed a bit during the day, it is predicted to be frozen solid again overnight.
Countries all over Europe have been battling a severe winter weather for the last two weeks. Dozens have been reported dead due to the bitter cold, mostly in Serbia and Ukraine. Schools and some offices have been closed.
And it’s not only in Europe. Algeria in northern Africa is also experiencing severe winter weather.
