Van der Sloot Pleads Guilty: Admits Killing Peru Woman

According to Van der Sloot’s taped confession, he accidentally broke her neck in a fit of rage inside his hotel room. He allegedly found Flores checking his involvement on the Natalee Holloway case on the internet using his laptop.
Meanwhile, his lawyer hopes to get his charge reduced from homicide to manslaughter after the guilty plea. Attorney Jose Luis Jimenez said Van der Sloot is in fragile mental health after this ordeal and also after years of being tormented by the international media regarding the Natalee Holloway case.
The guilty plea comes seven years after the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba. Her body is yet to be found.
