UAAP 2011 Final Four: Ateneo Beats UST, Makes Finals (VIDEO)

Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) has clinched the first finals berth in UAAP 2011. Ateneo beat University of Santo Tomas (UST) 69-66 to clinch the fist finals berth of UAAP Season 74. Ateneo will now wait who its opponent in the finals will be. Adamson (AdU) has a twice to beat advantage of Far Eastern University (FEU) in the other Final Four match-up.
The Ateneo Blue Eagles never looked in danger of losing to UST in the first three quarters of the game. The Eagles controlled the game and led by as much as 14 points in the third quarter. However, UST, spearheaded by Jeric Teng, made a late surge to come to within three points of Ateneo. However, the foul-troubled Tigers ran out of time and failed to make their final basket.
UST will play the loser of the FEU vs AdU match-up for third place.
