Tiger Woods Loses Top 50 Ranking For 1st Time Since 1996

The loss of his Top 50 ranking also means Tiger’s streak of 778 consecutive weeks on the top 50 has come to an end, a streak that began in late October of 1996 he was ranked 61.
Woods, who has not played since missing the cut at the PGA Championship, returns to competition this week at the Frys.com Open at CordeValle in northern California.
