Talk N Text Beats Ginebra in Game 6, Wins PBA Commissioner’s Cup 2011

Talk N Text trailed by 15 points , 66-81, early in the fourth period and it looked like Game 7 was inevitable. But they fought on, launching a dizzying 16-3 run in the fourth quarter to turn a one-sided match into an exciting finale. The game eventually went into overtime, and that’s when the champions went into sixth gear fighting off Barangay Ginebra’s gritty stand. Alapag’s triple in the 2:14 mark of the overtime gave the Texters a 94-93 lead. He then scored the game’s final two points from the charity lane with 15.2 seconds to go, then Talk N Text held its ground in Ginebra’s final play to eventually end the series in six games.
