Whitney Houston is dead. Houston’s death was confirmed by her publicist to The Associated Press. Whitney Houston’s cause of death is yet unknown. An autopsy is expected to establish this. Autopsy results will not be available for some time but many are speculating that drugs may have played a part in her death. In recent years, Whitney Houston has struggled with drug abuse. It was rumored a couple of days ago that Whitney may be the next X Factor judge. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Whitney Houston has been offered to part of The X Factor USA judging panel after Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger were fired last month. UPDATE: According to reports coming in, Whitney Houston was found dead on the fourth floor of the Beverly Hilton Hotel. A 911 call was placed at around 3:23 PM and police were immediately dispatched. Whitney was found unconscious and attempts to resuscitate her failed.
