It looks like not only Eddie Murphy has a death hoax on Twitter. Aside from ‘RIP Eddie Murphy’, ‘RIP Rick Ross’, ‘RIP Drake’, & ‘RIP Lebron James’ are also trending on the social networking site. Who else died?
As reported on this site earlier, fans of Eddie Murphy really thought the actor had died after ‘RIP Eddie Murphy’ became a trending topic on Twitter. But after finding out that the report came from Media Fetcher, fans breathed a sigh of relief.
Media Fetcher should not be taken seriously. In fact, the side has already ‘killed’ other celebrities before – Jon Bon Jovi, Charlie Sheen, Adam Sandler, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Bacon, Will Smith, Tiger Woods, George Clooney and several others.
And in the case of Rick Ross, LeBron James and Drake’s deaths, they’re bogus as well. There must be a four for one sale on death hoaxes today.
