Power Trekk: Mobile Phone Charger That Runs on Water!

Power Trekk works via a chemical reaction. All it needs is a tablespoon of water and you’re ready to go. That amount of water will charge your mobile phone for approximately 10 hours of use. More than enough time to call or text for help in emergency situations (provided there’s a signal, of course). The water reacts to sodium silicide to produce hydrogen gas.
The PowerTrekk was launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last year but created little buzz. However, a modified and improved version has been relaunched at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas this year. (VIDEO CREDIT: YouTube)
