Philippines Beats Croatia in Homeless World Cup 2011

Coming off a loss to football powerhouse Netherlands team, the Philippine team bounced back to surprise the Croatians. The latter were favorites to subdue their opponents but the gritty Pinoys came out strong to add one more win to their record. Philippine team skipper Janrick Soriano completed his hatrick in the first half and netted two more in the second while John Celis score two goals and co-captain Jeffrey Guelas added one.
The Philippine team to the 2011 Homeless World Cup is composed of Jeffrey Guelas, Bert Anthony Sienes, Aljhonn Loui Matulac, Ricardo Padilla Jr., John Celiz, Jeffrey De Castro, Michel Rojo, and Janrick Soriano. Team Philippines won the Host Cup (25th to 32 place) in the 2010 edition of the Homeless World Cup.
