Pat Riley Will NOT Coach Miami Heat Again Despite NBA Loss

Pat Riley is NOT going back to coaching, for the Miami Heat or for any other team. Riley spoke at the season-ending wrap up for the Miami Heat. Discussed at the event were several topics including the disappointment of Miami’s loss in the NBA finals to the Dallas Mavericks. He praised the Dallas Mavericks for their win and likewise lauded the Heat for their performance all season despite coming up short in the end. He also said Miami already has a strong leader in Erik Spoelstra.
Pat Riley will focus on being president of the Miami Heat.
