Not Liking New Facebook Look? How to Revert to Old Facebook Settings

Easy steps on how to get your old Facebook homepage format back.
“Starting today, it will be easier to keep up with the people in your life no matter how frequently or infrequently you’re on Facebook,” announced Mark Tonkelowitz, Facebook engineering manager. “All your news will be in a single stream with the most interesting stories featured at the top. If you haven’t visited Facebook for a while, the first things you’ll see are top photos and statuses posted while you’ve been away. They’re marked with an easy-to-spot blue corner,” Tonkelowitz added.
But since many Facebook users don’t like the upgrade, some have found a way to get their ‘old’ Facebook look back. How to revert to the ‘old’ Facebook format? Here’s how: go to your account settings and choose to edit the language. Choose English (UK) instead of English (US). Save your changes. You’ll find out that your home page has now gone back to the old format before the upgrades.
UPDATE: A quick check revealed that this method has stopped working. Looks like Facebook has found a way to stop us from getting our old Facebook format back.
UPDATE: Discovered another trick. I switched to my native language (Filipino) and it still works. My homepage is back to the old format!
Try it with your accounts. Try going to another language other than English.
