National Beef Recall For Possible E. coli Contamination

According media reports, 60,000 pounds of beef are included in the recall affecting products sold in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, South Carolina and Tennessee. However, the USDA reveals the meat could have been distributed nationwide. At least three major grocery store chains are already recalling certain packages of ground beef due to possible E. coli contamination – Winn-Dixie Stores Inc., Publix Super Markets Inc. and Kroger Co. mainly in the southeastern United States.
