Mariah Yeater Justin Bieber Paternity Case Continues w/ New Lawyer
The paternity claim of Mariah Yeater against Justin Bieber is NOT over. Hours after it was reportedly dropped, Mariah Yeater is back with another lawyer – Jeffrey M. Leving, and he is asking the Justin Bieber to provide a confidential paternity test.
“We’re negotiating with Bieber’s counsel, to reach a confidentiality agreement and to get private testing and results,” Leving told People magazine. Pressed further, Yeater’s new counsel said he believes his client is telling the truth. He revealed, though, the he fears for her safety.
“I just spoke to Mariah today, someone was recently stalking her,” he says. “She is happy that she changed her number so she’s not getting death threats by phone. She’s a young 20-year-old mother who now has to worry about her safety and her child’s. It’s a lot for any woman that age to handle.”
It will be recalled that Mariah Yeater started receiving threats after her paternity suit against Justin Bieber became public. It is believed some die-hard fans of the young superstar are behind these threats.
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber and his camp continue to play down the paternity suit. ”As we’ve said from the beginning, it’s sad that someone would fabricate such a malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claim. We’ll continue to consider all of our options to protect Justin.”
