Kyle Dyer, TV Anchor, Bitten by Dog on Face (VIDEO)

The dog, named Warrior Maximus, was appearing on the show after being rescued from a freezing pond. It was supposed to be happy reunion for the dog and his rescuers. However, as Kyle Dyer bent down to pat Warrior Maximus, the dog suddenly lunged at her and bit her on the face.
Kyle Dyer was immediately taken to hospital where she underwent emergency reconstructive surgery. Kyle Dyer is expected to be out of the morning show she anchors for several weeks while she recuperates. (VIDEO CREDIT: YouTube/KUSA-TV)
