That figure is ridiculous. No one is worth that much to judge a television singing competition. Can you imagine how jealous J Lo would be if it was true? She would have fits at American Idol and demand a similar salary. After all, Jennifer Lopez thinks she is the reason why American Idol has continued to be a success after Simon Cowell’s departure.
But back to The X Factor USA. Seriously, Beyonce would be a great addition to The X Factor. And she’d be a good ratings draw, for sure. And that’s what The X factor USA badly needs for its second season. After a disappointing season 1, Simon Cowell wants to deliver what he has promised FOX – a show that will beat American Idol in the ratings, or at least, equal Idol.
