Indonesia leads the medal tally of the 2011 SEA Games. Host Indonesia has asserted its dominance of the of the 2011 Southeast Asian Games. After two days of action, Indonesia has hauled 23 gold medals, 15 silver medals and 9 bronze medals, for a total of 47 medals so far. And just to show you how dominating the host country’s performance is, second-placed Singapore has only 8 gold medals so far.
Indonesia lorded it over at the SEA games 10-15 years ago. However, its dominance was challenged and eclipsed in recent years by Thailand. Now as it plays host, Indonesia is serving notice to its opponents that it is serious in getting the crown back.
