Huntington Beach, California Wins 2011 LLWS Over Japan (VIDEO)

It was an epic win for California as both teams remained locked in battle at 1-1 near the end of the sixth inning. But first baseman Nick Pratto singled in the winning run with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth. After a force play at the plate, Pratto smacked a solid liner to center field that brought pinch-runner Eric Anderson home.
The Little League World Series competition pits children aged 11 to 13 years old in teams from the United States and all over the world as they compete for the most important baseball tournament of their young lives. Initially, only teams from the United States competed in the Little League World Series. However, it has since become a worldwide series. The competition has gained popular renown, especially in the United States, where games from the Series are eagerly awaited by baseball fans. (VIDEO CREDIT: YouTube/ABC)
