Gasoline, Diesel Price Rollback Jan. 29, 2012 Announced
Good news to motorists. A new round of price rollbacks for gasoline & diesel have been announced. The oil price rollbacks have been anticipated since last week ever since the Department of Energy (DOE) declared that price adjustments were in store due to price cuts in oil in the international market.
The oil price rollbacks are as follows:
- Flying V Oil Price Rollback – Flying V announced it will cut the prices of unleaded gasoline by P1 per liter and regular gasoline by P0.40 centavos per liter, effective 12:01 AM of January 29. Prices of its biodiesel and kerosene will also be slashed by P1 per liter.
- Pilipinas Shell and SeaOil Oil Price Rollbacks – Shell and SeaOil announced they will reduce the prices of unleaded gasoline by 15 centavos, diesel by 90 centavos and kerosene by 70 centavos also effect 12:01 AM.
Other gasoline retailers have not made announcement but they are expected to follow.
