In a match that took two days to finish, Andy Murray has shown us his determination to win another Grand Slam title. His match against Victor Troicki started on Monday but was halted in the fifth set due to darkness. Play was suspended just after Murray had leveled the match at two sets apiece after Troicki won the first two sets. It was disappointing for Murray since he had the momentum at that point.
When play was resumed on Tuesday, Troicki raced to a 5-2 lead in the deciding set and it looked like Andy Murray was going home. But the Briton had other plans. He broke Viktor Troicki’s games to level the fifth set at 5-5 and took the remaining two games to win 7-5 in the decider.
It was a great escape for Murray who was doubtful to continue in the tournament after twisting his ankle in the previous round.
