The Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws were looking to win Game 2 and extend the UAAP finals series today. And, for a while there, the Tamaraws looked to be succeeding as they led Ateneo in the first half. However, The Blue Eagles’ vaunted finishing kick overhauled their deficit in the the third quarter and never looked back from there.
Earlier, the UAAP Season 74 awards for basketball were handed out. National University’s Bobby Ray Parks led the players with this year’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) title though his school failed to make it in this season’s Final Four.
Parks also led the 2011 UAAP Mythical Five which includes Ateneo’s Greg Slaughter, Adamson’s Alex Nuyles, Far Eastern University’s Aldrech Ramos and Ateneo’s Kiefer Ravena. Ravena was also warded the Rookie of the Year honor. (VIDEO CREDIT: YouTube)
