360 of the nurses will be hired for government hospitals and clinics, according to the Kuwait Ministry of Health. They will receive 600 Kuwaiti dinars or equivalent to P91,000 monthly salary, free accommodation and transportation. However, the MOH will no longer recruit OFWs directly from manpower agencies in the Philippines. Local Kuwaiti companies will be tasked to hire the nurses needed.
One of these companies is Medi-tech Global Technologies for Medical Supplies and Services. “We are one of them, Global Technologies, one of the companies qualified to recruit nurses from the Philippines to the Ministry of Health,” said Dr. Shadya Kamal Hakeem.
“Next month, we will recruit for private hospitals and private clinics 300 nurses. Prepare all your documents. All your documents should be attested by the embassy and submit it to our agency in the Philippines,” said Dr. Hakeem.
