The Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment, organizers of Times Square New Year’s Eve event, have partnered with Toshiba and Livestream to come up with this ‘ball drop’ app. Now, mobile users can simulate the feeling of being in Times Square for this traditional new year’s eve event.
The Times Square Ball Drop app is free and is compatible with any iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android device. Watch the live, six-and-a-half-hour, commercial-free mobile stream coverage of New Year’s Eve in Times Square powered by Livestream. Download the free app now just in time for the new year’s eve event. The Times Square Ball app is now available at the Android Market and the Apple App Store.
