2011 Wimbledon Order of Play: DAY 12, July 2 Women’s Final

The penultimate day of Wimbledon 2011, the tournament is almost over. Only a few matches are schedule for the two remaining days of the world’s premier tennis grand slam tournament. But these are the matches that count. Today, DAY 12, there are three finals matches in the main draw and a number of semifinals encounters scheduled in the boys’ and girls’ division.

Maria Sharapova will be on Centre Court trying to win her seconf Wimbledon title. Standing in her way is Petra Kvitova, a rising star in the tennis circuit in the first Grand Slam final of her young career. Can Sharapova close this one out and win? Meanwhile, the Bryan brothers will take Centre Court after the women’s final for the men’s doubles.
